PPC’S vice chairman Nguyen Van Linh met with indian ambassador to Vietnam
On the morning of 15th April 2013, PPC’s Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Linh had a meeting with Mr. Ranjit Rae, Indian Ambassador to Vietnam. Attending the meeting were representatives of provincial departments and agencies: Foreign Affairs, Planning and Investment, the provincial People's Committee Office, the Management Board of the provincial industrial zones.
At the meeting, the Ambassador expressed his pleasure at the warm reception of Bac Giang province; share his good feelings about traditional relationships Vietnam – Indian, Ambassador Ranjit Rae said, in recent years, cooperation between the two countries have achieved many important accomplishments, especially after two countries improving relations reach strategic partnership in 2007 the cooperation was comprehensively promote the fields. In 2012, the 40th anniversary of the establishment of full diplomatic relations between Vietnam - India, 20 years to establish relations of India - ASEAN, many cultural events, academic, trade seminars, exchange of visits senior ... was held.
In the economic cooperation, at the end of January 2013, 68 projects with foreign direct investment (FDI) in India to Vietnam in force with a registered capital of 251.35 million USD, ranking 30 / 98 countries and territories have invested in Vietnam. In Bac Giang, only one project invested in Song Khe – Noi Hoang industrial zones on Silicon carbide production, valued at $4.5 million.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Vice chairman Nguyen Van Linh appreciated the visit of Ambassador Ranjit Rae to Bac Giang. He also introduced overview of the potential and strengths of the province, emphasized the potential areas of cooperation and expressed his desire that the Ambassador would help to call the Indian entrepreneurs to invest in Bac Giang.
On this occasion, Mr Linh recommended the Indian province will further strengthen cooperation with Bac Giang in the field of human resource development, poverty alleviation ... Bac Giang provincial People's Committee will create the most favorable conditions for Indian investors implementing projects./.
